Pysanky Creation

CreArt : Pysanky Creation

Pysanky is the Ukrainian art of decorating eggs using an ancient-looking tool called a kistka. You use the kistka to write on the egg with wax. Then, when you dye the egg, the wax resists the dye and the design underneath stays. You can then repeat this process over and over on the egg. Made by *TK3point5

Griffin Pedestal Sculpture

CreArt : Griffin Pedestal Sculpture

The griffin (also spelt gryphon, griffon or gryphin) is a legendary creature with the body of a lion and the head of an eagle with the addition of prominent ears. The female has the wings of an eagle. The male (known as a keythong) has projecting spikes instead of wings and is less frequently depicted. In the artwork of ancient Persia, as well as in the artwork of other parts of the ancient world from Scythia to Macedonia and Greece, the Griffin has special place (see below
two sculptures of griffins from Persepolis and Susa).
